Several years ago I worked with several interns who were learning the Human Resources field.  It was amazing to see how much they changed as they spent time in the real work world.

Many of our interns were very young and hand never held a job.  Their internships were required in order to graduate, and they often went into them with the attitude that they were taking a break from studying.  It didn’t take long for them to grasp the discipline and skills needed to thrive in their field.

As our young students met deadlines, sat through meetings, and learned time management, I had the pleasure of watching them morph from fun-loving kids to well-rounded business people.
