One of the most shocking revelations in the police department last year was the prevalence of a high-tech crime called identity theft.  As a matter of fact, the crime victimized no less than millions of Americans in 2007.  The thing with identity theft is that being a pretty new crime, it is hard to anticipate where it is coming from. It can even be said that we (police department) don’t really know yet how to prevent its coming.  One possible way to lessen the occurrence is the use of services from a company called life lock.  The method of the company is to anticipate identity thieves’ moves.
