On a recent trip to Milan, I spent a majority of my time window-shopping at the trendy designer stores, people-watching in cafes and relaxing in the piazzas. I didn’t spend very much time at my hotel, which is why I was happy that I didn’t spend much money on my Milan hotels. I chose to go the cheaper route here because I knew the only time I’d be there would be too sleep. Why spend excessive amounts of money on a place you very rarely see? Even the cheaper hotels in Milan were beautiful and comfortable. And, the staff was just as polite, helpful and friendly as in the bigger, more expensive hotels. Would I go this round again? Most definitely.
