Visitors to Cyprus, particularly to the South of the island arrive by air. Visitors arrive by charter from many places, particularly from the UK.

One of the major airlines with regular flights serving Cyprus is naturally its airline- Cyprus Airways. Cyprus Airways mainly connects Cyprus to many European and Asian destinations. There are no direct flights between Cyprus and North America.

Despite the fact hat Cyprus is an island, passengers arriving by sea are few in numbers. The majority of visitors arriving by sea are from the mainland of Turkey, but only to the Northern half of the island.
